HFR stands for human form recognition. HFR cameras use AI technology built within a camera to 'detect' a human using complex AI algorithms. Once a human is identified by an HFR camera, an alert is then triggered to a driver or operator, providing them with a warning of the risk. How do VUE HFR cameras work?
The VUE HFR cameras use innovative human detection technology to identify humans in Amber and Red zones around an operating machine; both sides and the rear.
Cameras cover 360° around a vehicle, with a detection zone coverage of 300°.
The human detection cameras provide a real-time visual and audible alert in-cab to warn the operator of the potential danger. The high-definition image highlights the risk, enabling operators to take the necessary action. An external speaker can also be fitted to warn the individual at risk and increase worker awareness of the operating machine.
As the human form recognition system with AI technology can differentiate between humans and static objects e.g., bricks or scaffolding, this prevents excessive alerting and makes it an accurate solution that workers can trust.
