VUEgroup recently donated towards the Rainbow Ambulance Wrap Competition, held by the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb).
The children’s colouring competition was created to thank the communities who supported and encouraged them during the current Covid-19 crisis. SECAmb was particularly looking for designs which incorporated a rainbow, NHS logo and a supportive public message.
Children were invited to submit their designs before a panel of judges, after which three designs were selected to be placed on ambulances in each of the three counties served by the Trust.
The competition was the brainchild of SECAmb Operational Team Leader from Hastings, Neville Bettley. He said: “We’ve had overwhelming support from the public and I thought this would be a way we could express our thanks. We see so many great pictures of rainbows as we go about our work and I’m really pleased that the Trust has been able to take this forward.”
VUE has supplied vehicle CCTV and video telematics to the Emergency Services for over a decade and is proud to work with nearly all of the UK’s Ambulance, Police, and Fire services along with other blue and amber light bodies. We’re especially proud to have helped support the Rainbow Ambulance Wrap Competition to bring a little more colour during this difficult time.
